The Google bot has no problem while crawling a CMS based site such as word press, Joomla or any other as they have well defined structure and follows the guidelines on segregating the categories and other important factors. While under HTML system you have to design everything for every individual requirement - Tags, Categories, and Archive etc. If you can do the same thing in the HTML section, chances are that they might do better than the "Sheepy" CMS trend that everyone is implementing now a day.

4. Load-time and Cache
This is one of the most crucial aspects of the ranking system done by Google and almost every other search engine. If the load time is more than a few seconds it degrades the quality of the site in the eyes of search engine bots. In the modern world where information is meant to be available in a few clicks and a few second the load time becomes an important factor. If you are a webmaster whose sites used to rank better for unique results earlier and now has been hit hard check the webpage load time. This is a simple tool to check the load time.

The cache is the last view of the crawled pages. This is what Google offers to users in case your site goes offline for a while. The bots make a screen shot like back up of every page hey have crawled inside your page and is made available as a cache. The previous version if any gets modified and the recent ones are added to the Google Cache Database. 5. Do-follow and No-follow tags
It might seem that having a unique content and acquiring a good position in the SERP is the end of Webmaster's responsibility but it is not. The spam comments are needed to be deleted and people posting blah blah and having a link to their unworthy website in the text part should be blocked and this can be done with the simple "no follow" tag. The no follow tag will order the Google bots not to follow the websites mentioned in the comment section. This will hence reduce the outgoing spam juice and maintain proper quality of the commented page.

This is one of the few techniques that is very hard to resist. The link building has been the basic principle of landing pages and most of the mid level sites as well. The effects are clearly visible within a month and the ranking system seems biased. But this is not the end game - Google finds such sites and kicks them out at the end of the final examination (if any). The major algorithm changes are applied and they are all taken down with a single blow. So better be in the safe side of the business and stay out of trouble during such updates.

There is only a simple instruction for people who buy and sell links. Once you are identified by Google research system that you are buying and selling links you will be punished hard and your AdSense account might be terminated as well. Google rates the quality of websites by a PR rating. If this is high such as on websites such as Wikipedia or Facebook then the value of each link is worth more than a link on a low website with a low PR ranking.

And since Google has a lot of data concerning my site, if I can reduce a metric such as bounce rate, then it must mean that I am providing value for my audience and therefore I will ultimately see higher rankings.

Finally, let us talk about blog commenting. This is a white hat technique provided it is done correctly. Most people will abuse this and just write spam comments that are not related to the post, and they will comment solely with the intent of obtaining a link. While back-linking, social media and content marketing are all very important aspects of marketing your business online, the only real way to get ahead of your competition is to provide your readers with something of value. And I'm not talking about general, umbrella terms like "relevant information," "helpful tips" or "community-sharing." I'm talking about real, tangible, measurable value that people can actually put to good use in their practical, everyday lives.

Let's say, for example, that you wrote an article on how to promote your business on Facebook. Now, this topic has been written about for so many times now. If you do a Google search, you will find at least 245,000,000 websites that contain the keyword "promote business on Facebook." Just how exactly are you going to compete with hundreds of millions of websites that are talking about the exact same thing that you want to talk about?

The key here is to provide something that your readers are able to apply in their daily lives. Don't just tell them to "Keep their fans interested." You have to show them how. People on the Internet are intelligent individuals and they can read between the lines if you're trying too hard to sell your products or if you're simply here to provide value for them. Ironically enough, it's those websites that aren't afraid to be generous that earn the most in the end.

3. Interact. The whole point of going online is to start a conversation. From that single point of contact, you can easily build and strengthen a community of followers who rely on you to provide reliable, helpful and interesting information that they can use for themselves. So when someone shoots you an email or when people start commenting on your articles, reply to them. Agree with them, argue with them (respectfully, if I may add), answer their questions, praise them, give them the advice they're asking for. Do something for them. Yes, that means giving even more value than the kind you decided to give in your article.

You don't have to obsess about keywords and back-links. There are no Google penalties for websites that provide value. In fact, if you keep on focusing on how you can help your readers in every way you can and forget about making money from your website altogether, the high-quality back-links, the social media mentions and the high search rankings will effortlessly come your way.
